商設藝廊9/21至10/25展出王開立老師〈Across the Universe〉立體造型創作展。歡迎全校師生蒞臨設計大樓3樓商設藝廊欣賞指教。
這是一個以星際幻想為概念的陶瓷與親水泥創作系列創作，靈感源自於1969年電影《2001太空漫遊》(2001: A Space Odyssey)，以一種濃厚復古感的設計形式，重新形塑出上個世紀人類對於外太空探險的嚮往與想像。飛碟、火箭、登陸小艇、宇宙飛行器，盡情發揮豐富的太空幻想，同時也滿足大人的童年夢想。
這系列的作品共有15件，是我個人第一次以陶瓷與親水泥
為素材的作品發表，每一件作品均為手作，有些還經過化妝土上色、上釉、電鍍等複雜的製程，希望每位觀賞者都會喜歡。
Across the Universe is a series of ceramic and
cement works with outer space as topic. It was inspired by a 1968 movie called 2001: A Space Odyssey. These works filled with a strong retro atmosphere coming from space era. UFO, rocket, landing boats, aircraft, etc. Inspire our rich imagination of space and also to satisfy our childhood dreams.
This is my first time to present my ceramic and cement works to the public. These 15 works are quite diffident because they are all handmade, and through a complicated manufacturing process, including decorating with Slips and Engobes、glazing and the electroplating coating. I hope every audience can enjoy it.
